June 11 to October 31, 2010
On the occassion of the 20th anniversary of the reunification the Feininger Gallery will show this summer the print graphic arts of the capitalistic realism. In 1963 Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke and Konrad Lueg formed this term intentionally in relation to the socialistic counterpart. The artictic results often are critical comments on the circumstances of the Federal Republic, sometimes also humorous experiments.
